Kate Upton Looks Amazing Promoting Guess Accessories

I started following Kate Upton’s career after she appeared in Guess Spring 2011 campaign. She was so gorgeous on the images that I decided I had to know everything about this girl. Kate Upton is still the representative for Guess Accessories for Fall 2011 and she looks absolutely stunning on the photos. But she is not the only face of the brand now. Other beauties, including Sandrah Hellbergs and Amber Heard, join Kate to promote Guess clothing and accessories.

Speaking about the Guess Accessories campaign for Fall 2011 itself I can say it is interesting to look at. I love the bright colors and the very high quality of the photographs. Girls look really amazing on those.

Dressed in luxurious garments – leopard dresses and fur coats, vibrant asymmetrical tops and gowns, fashionable vests and shirts, sexy miniskirts and skinny trousers – Kate Upton and Sandrah Hellbergs pose with lovely handbags in hands, stylish watches on wrists, and plenty and diverse jewelry pieces in shape of hearts, teddy bears, and stars. But it’s fantastic Guess eyewear from Fall 2011 collection that attracts the most attention, especially the red-framed pair on Kate Upton where she is photographed with a little tiger in her hands.

Michelle Obama’s Stunning Brazilian Fashion

When President Obama visited South America recently, he took along his family. Mrs. O of course looked amazing wherever she went.

Here are four of her spectacular looks.

Michelle Obama looks like she’s ready for a picnic in this Tracy Reese strapless dress with borders. Want one for your own? You can buy it for $350 from Tracy Reese online.

On Saturday, Michelle wore a Naeem Khan Spring 2011 natural linen embroidered sheath for her family’s arrival at the Palacio do Alvorada in Brasilia, Brazil.

Official Arrival Ceremony

The Obamas joined President Dilma Vana Rousseff for the official arrival ceremony. Michelle wore a Rachel Roy Wall Print jacket and one shoulder dress. Later on at a cultural performance at the Oca da Tribo restaurant, she slipped off the jacket.

Colcci Couple: Ashton Kutcher & Alessandra Ambrosio (Fall 2011 Ad Campaign)

After fabulous Gisele Bundchen (See all Gisele’s photos) only someone as fabulous could become the face of Colcci brand. And we are happy it is Alessandra Ambrosio who replaced Gisele. She isn’t alone at this position though. For a better effect Colcci hired Demi Moore’s handsome husband Ashton Kutcher, who has recently returned to his modeling roots.

The new Colcci couple, Ashton Kutcher & Alessandra Ambrosio, look fantastic together posing for the label’s Fall 2011 ad campaign. Dressed in denim outfits the young people seem to be enjoying each other’s company.

Would You Wear… Floral Print Shoes?

While scouring my favorite online shopping locations for spring wardrobe inspiration, I noticed floral print shoes everywhere. While floral prints seem to be a perpetual trend for spring and summer, we haven’t seen them on shoes to this extent in a very long time.

This ’70s-retro look is versatile and can be worn many ways in the months to come. Since mixing prints will continue to be popular through Spring 2011, these shoes could be fun to wear with a cute patterned dress or a polka dotted blouse. If you’re in the mood to try another trend, the furthest right look above displays the high heels and ankle socks trend worn with floral wedges – and they couldn’t look any cuter!

Personally, I think floral print shoes can pretty much work on any girl. When worn with flowy spring dresses or cropped cardigans and vests, these shoes would help channel the perfect boho vibe, but a pair of floral oxfords worn with cargos could create an edgier look – it’s all in the styling.

Heart Truth Fashion Show Kicks off NY Fashion Week

Since 2003, the red dress has been the symbol of the Heart Truth Awareness campaign to promote women’s heart health, and the accompanying fashion show has become an event in its own right during NY Fashion Week. Celebrities came out in droves for the event, including Anne Curry, Taraji P. Henson, Garcelle Beauvais, Audrina Patridge, Julianne Hough, Natasha Bedingfield, and Denise Richards, all sporting designs from top designers. Many of them have been touched in some way by heart disease, others were just there to support the worthy cause. Although the show itself lacked energy at first, it picked up towards the end and the gowns spoke for themselves. All styles were represented – long, short, embellished, minimalist, full and swingy, and form-fitting. We loved Cat Deeley’s strapless, floor-length, floaty confection by Alberta Ferretti. Gorgeous! Our least favorite?  The Ina Soltani strapless taffeta party dress was a poor choice for the 64-year-old Suzanne Somers…

At iFashionNetwork, we applaud both the cause and the kick-off of fashion week; check back for more runway coverage…

NY Fashion Week: Spotlight on Mara Hoffman

Turbans and veils added ambiance to Mara Hoffman’s tribal-and-desert themed fall/winter collection. While patterns were wild, silhouettes were reigned in for sleek sophistication with a modern edge. We appreciated that these looks were truly 3 dimensional. Super-skinnies in a tribal pattern were paired with matching tunics with intricate and unexpected tassel embellishments in the back. A long sleeve long-and-lean maxi dress in a zebra pattern stayed fresh with a hood and a surprise open back. Strapless and spaghetti-strapped cocktail dresses were bohemian, with macramé detail, exotic patterns, tassel embellishments, and light-as-air fabrics. And a stunning, billowy, floor-length caftan was luxurious and rounded out this cohesive collection beautifully. Her clothes were thoughtful, polished, and bold… bravo!

Red Carpet Ready

It’s easy to achieve some of our favorite red carpet looks.

Christina Hendricks’ big bright eyes:

NARS and celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali teamed up to create an exuberant look for Christina Hendricks at the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards.  “I had this vision of a big, doe-eyed, lashy look from the late 70s and early 80s. To keep it modern, I kept the skin dewy with shimmering eyes and added a pop of matte texture on the lips,” said Vanessa.

Vanessa used four Nars products to create the look.  Calanque Trio Eyeshadow and Hollywoodland Soft Touch Shadow Pencil (both new for spring 2011) as well as Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and Larger than Life Volumizing Mascara.

Julie Bowen’s glowing complexion:

Makeup artist Heather Currie enhanced Julie’s complexion with products by Tarte. Heather first prepped Julie’s skin with Tarte’s Clean Slate Natural Primer.  She then applied  ReCreate Anti-Agining Foundation with Wrinkle Rewind Technology in cool bisque #04. Next a touch of Tarte’s Dark Circle Defense Natural Under Eye Corretor in llight-to-medium  was used before dabbing on New Smooth Operator Illuminating Serium on Julie’s Cheekbones for clean radiant skin.

Olivia Wilde’s sheer pink lips:

NARs and makeup artist Spencer Barnes created Olivia’s French girl look. “ I wanted her skin to be fresh and clean with eyes that extended outward. Touches of rose gold and sheer pink-veiled lips completed her youthful coquette-ish look.” Spencer said.  To get those sublet girlish lips yourself you need to apply NARs’ Fantasia Lipliner Pencil around your lips. A good trick to keep your color lasting is to color-in your lips with the lipliner pencil as a base color and then apply your lipstick over it.  Spencer used Madere Pure Matte Lipstick as well as Frivolous Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil for the perfect sheer pout.
