Eyebrow Superstar: Camilla Belle

Camilla Belle has long been known for having a serious set of arches—and at a recent Miu Miu event, she proved that when you’ve got great brows, you don’t need much else…at least as far as makeup is concerned. She looked gorge with glowing, tawny skin, subtly-rimmed eyes and a natural pink lip. As for the brows, they looked slightly lighter than they usually do, which is a great trick for summer.

In warmer months, switch to a brow pencil that’s a shade less intense. You’ll still get that filled-in effect, but your arches will look sun-kissed—almost like naturally-occurring highlights. “And remember to always blend with a spoolie brush,” says makeup artist Sonia Kashuk. This makes the pencil strokes look like actual hairs.

Color Theory

Not to be outshone by summer brights, autumnal knits and outerwear get plucky in cherry red, electric blue, Kelly green, and egg-yolk yellow. Go on, face the rainbow.

Hello Kitty Debuts First Shoe Collection With Twenty10 Footwear- Would You Wear Hello Kitty’s Shoes?

We hate to part with childhood friends, and Hello Kitty is no exception. Considering Kitty is 36-years-old (and just welcomed a fashion-forward baby sister), it’s only natural that she’s working with the big girls now by introducing the Hello Kitty by Twenty10 Footwear line, which debuted their holiday 2011 and spring 2012 collections in July. The collection of rainboots, sneakers, and cutesy heels lies somewhere between youthful whimsy and grown-up charm. Clearly, these pretty peep-toes may not be office-appropriate, but for the formerly faithful Hello Kitty fan, we don’t doubt they can soon become a lovable favorite.

The Denim Jacket: A Blast From The Past Or Present Perfect?

It’s time to dust off your jean jacket. Favored by the likes of Ruby Aldridge, Liu Wen, and Hanne Gaby Odiele, the denim staple is making a bid to replace the leather bomber as model-off-duty topper of choice. This summer, bona fide celebs (Cameron Diaz) and burgeoning trendsetters (Pippa Middleton) alike have been spotted layering snug, faded ones over feminine looks for an edgy update. Speaking of edgy, we loved the acid-wash, pharaoh-embellished number that Sleigh Bells’ Alexis Krauss wore to the Sasquatch festival this May. Same goes for Jonny Johansson’s heavily deconstructed indigo style from Acne’s Resort collection.

PG Bracelets Enhance Your Mood and Your Style

Do you ever find yourself choosing your clothing based on how you feel? Does your mood influence the way you accessorize your fashion? It can be a lot of fun to ‘wear’ your feelings on the outside in such an obvious way (well… most of the time). On the flip side, how about wearing something stylish that could act as inspiration for the mood you want to be in?

PG Bracelets, by Italian designer Paola Garofalo, are all about drawing on natural elements to stir your passions and bring you to a more lighthearted or peaceful place. The designs incorporate strong colors, different textured fabrics and metal elements to invoke a range of emotions. Vivid blues and smooth qualities suggest water, natural colors and rustic fabrics reflect the earth and passionate reds evoke fire. There is even a flag inspired line to show your patriotism or heritage

So the next time you’ve had a brutal day at work or a terrible falling out with your significant other, rather than dressing all in black, you can adorn yourself with something that may just lighten your outlook; at the very least, you’ll be highly fashionable.

Shoe art from Alexander McQueen

It’s not every day that a pair of heels deserves an exclusive glass rack in the living room amidst numerous souvenirs, expensive wall hangings and art sculptures.

The fashion house of Alexander McQueen illustrates just how design brilliance doesn’t end at the ankles, but goes all the way till the bottom of the feet.

These intricately designed wedges, part of the McQueen spring 2011 collection, are a classic embodiment of artistic surrealism. The crisp, but gentle flower petals curve around the edges of the leather platform creating a perfect balance between design and wearability. Almost exhibiting a Grecian bride look, this creation by Sarah Burton is a true amalgamation of fashion and art.
