French born Sophie Theallet’s resume is impressive. The winner of the 2009 CFDA /Vogue Fashion Fund Award, she worked alongside John Paul Gaultier and Azzedine Alaia before launching her own label in 2007. Her clothes are feminine and sophisticated, with a modern edge. While most of her Spring/Summer 2011 collection (shown at NY Fashion Week) reflected those qualities, some were missing that effortless vibe we have come to expect from her.
