Victoria Beckham Named Among Britain’s Most Influential Women 2010 – MillionLooks.com

Something’s happening to this world. I just can’t grip the fact that a writer can be considered more powerful than a monarch. However, that’s exactly what we read from the list of Britain’s 100 Most Influential Women compiled by editors of The National Magazine Company. The author of Harry Potter series, JK Rowling is on the first place of the list while Her Majesty the Queen is just on the third. What makes me glad is to see Victoria Beckham between those two. The singer-turned-fashion-designer must feel really privileged to be on the list and go before the Queen Elisabeth II.

In the leading ten we also find such names as Kate Moss (8) and Dame Vivienne Westwood (9). Anya Hindmarch (handbag designer), Elizabeth Hurley (model), Erin O’Connor (supermodel), Phoebe Philo (fashion designer), Stella McCartney (fashion designer) and Tamara Mellon (president and co-founder of Jimmy Choo) are also included.

Besides, the list of Britain’s 100 Most Influential Women comprises lots of other interesting personalities who are far from the fashion industry. These are the following: Alexa Chung, Dame Helen Mirren, Emma Watson, Fearne Cotton, Joan Collins, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Leona Lewis, Lily Allen, Sienna Miller and Twiggy.
