Why Mixing and Matching Prints is the Fastest Way to Fabulous

Just this once, its ok to ignore your mother’s rule. Mixing and matching your favorite prints is the newest way to freshen up your look. Many designers are known for their prints but no one mixes and matches quite like Dries Van Noten. Take a look at some of his shows for inspiration. Here are three examples from recent shows.

Other designers who play with prints include Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, and Dolce & Gabbana. Whimsical prints are always super fun and a great addition to more subdued patterns. Look for these on the runways of designers such as Moschino and Comme de Garcons. There are certainly some helpful hints to help you best tackle your print collection. If you are a mix-and-match beginner, black and white prints and patterns are easy to throw with other black and whites or with prints that have only one color and black
