An Easy Way To Play Around With Color, Courtesy Of AnnaLynne McCord

I love wearing pieces together that are in shades you wouldn’t normally thing “go”, like a marigold dress with my fuchsia wedges. If you like the idea of clashing colors but aren’t sure you can pull it off, here’s an easy way to try it out.

Wear a matching bright polish and necklace with a contrasting-colored dress, like McCord did to a charity even last week. Her necklace adds such a subtle pop of clash-y color to her leopard-print Diane Von Furstenberg dress that that it would have been great on it’s own. But going with bright yellow polish, too, really pulled it all together. If you wanna try this look but play it a little safer, go for a not-too-bold printed dress or one that clearly has a main color, that way you only have two or three shades going on in your whole outfit.
