Sexy Lingerie For A Sexier Valentine’s Day

Okay, okay, we know—it’s still January and there’s a month left until February 14 rolls around, when you’ll legitimately need sexy Valentine’s Day lingerie. But if you’re like us, you require some time to procure all the pieces for the steamiest of afternoons. If you’re missing sets, we’ve got them in spades, from delicate bra-and-panty combos to bodysuits that are anything but tawdry. If, on the other hand, you’re sans that special someone, well, you still have a month, and besides…sexy lingerie doesn’t always have to be for him!

Haute or Faux? iFashion Network Weighs in on Orange Shoes

We all know orange is coming our way this spring. We are comfortable with a bright scarf, some orange beads, a pair of statement earrings … maybe even a bag. But can you rock a pair of orange shoes? And do the available styles pass the haute-or-faux test? We took a look at the best and the worst of the crop that strutted down the runway during New York Fashion Week. The final verdict? We would take a pair of those Naeem Khans any day.

Haute:

Our top picks are successful because the silhouettes are modern, the orange is reined in a bit with some neutral colors and the details are fresh and flirty. All three of the shoes below work with cropped jeans or dresses and are trendy but still sophisticated.

Faux:

Below are a few pairs that missed the mark. Nanette Lepore’s attempt on the left looks frumpy and cheap. The fringe on the back of the heel adds nothing, and we hate that Velcro closure. Jeremy Scott’s zebra print boots are horrifying with those hooved toes (seriously, who is buying these?). And we’re not a big fan of Alberta Ferretti’s decision to do her shoes in satin. Where would you wear these? We aren’t sure, but we sure aren’t crazy about the fussy embroidery around the platform. Better luck next time, designers!

Ski Glam – From Haute Couture to Casual Chic

The so called ski fashion has never been so glamorous like this season. The winter fashion is all about lavish fabrics, eccentric look and refined accessories.

In case you haven’t found the right ski equipment yet, here are some fashionable decisions that will refresh your wardrobe. The first thing you should do, when choosing coat or jacket is to ask for brighter colors.

Forget the stereotypical winter jackets in black or brown; go for pink puff jackets, white fur coats and of course long tailored coats in blue or neon green.

These are the absolute fashion musts of the year. The suede boots are also different. Go for light brown or grey velour suede boots. The cable leg warmers also should be in bright colors. Silver ones are perfect for women with an eccentric fashion sense.

The cardigans are also an important part of the ski fashion. Check out Chloe’s latest collection, which is all about multi-colored cardigans. The wool tracksuit bottoms are a must, so go for them at Brown’s winter collection.

Cashmere is another lavish fabric that is in vogue this year. In case you want more style, go for cashmere swing cardigans. Zara’s ski fashion is all about fur winter hats, so don’t hesitate to add a white one to your winter look.
