Pinko Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 Ad Campaign

Three hot models, Jiang Xiao Yi, Ruby Aldridge and Chrishell Stubbs, pose for Pinko Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 ad campaign. The girls look stylish and beautiful wearing bright leggings, skinny pants, chic glitzy suits and mini sweatdresses.

Pinko clothing from Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection looks very smart. But accessories are even more attractive. The shoes are totally perfect – sky-high heel pumps, leather boots that reach the thigh area and look more like trousers than footwear, golden shoes with purple soles, etc. Clutches look glamorous being embellished with stones, and sequins.

I can’t say Pinko Fall/ Winter 2010-2011 ad campaign is interesting to look at but it corresponds to all normal campaign requirements. However, something more unusual could be invented to arouse customers’ interest in brand products.

Are You A Fashion Victim?

The term ‘fashion victim’ was introduced by Oscar de la Renta who predicted that fashion obsession millions of women suffer from nowadays. Despite the fact this is not actually the disease year by year more and more people get subject to the influence of fashion. And the interesting thing is these people do not always have good fashion sense or style, they just consider it important to follow the latest trends.

The first fashion victims were French girls that lived in the XVIII century. These fashionistas used to wear light chiffon kerchiefs in severe winter frosts and in the result got colds and died. As time passed the situation only got worse.

In the modern world you can consider yourself a fashion victim if:

- Brands are of utmost importance for you. You can spend all your salary on a Gucci bag and then live the whole month with an empty pocket.

- It is essential for you to have a fashionable piece from the latest collection. All those from old collections don’t make you happy at all.

- You copy the reputable fashion icons’ styles blindly.

- You don’t recognize natural beauty.

- You like shopping so much that can spend days doing it.

- You are fond of makeup. You have fake eyelashes, your hair is dyed or you have hair extensions.

- Your tan is fake and you have tanning beds more often than it is really necessary.

- You believe that clothing can be uncomfortable but it should be beautiful and fashionable.

- You go on diets on the regular basis.

- You have had plastic surgery or plan to have it.

- You wear high heels every day.

If at least three of these conditions are true about you, be sure you are a fashion victim. And you definitely should do something about it because this passion can lead to really bad consequences. I hope this post will help you realize fashion is not everything. There are other, far more important things in life.

Fashion Faceoff: Hilary Duff Vs. Jennifer Lopez In Roland Mouret

You know how the game goes–two hot celebrities, one chic frock. Decide who wore Roland Mouret better, after the jump!

Back in May, Jennifer Lopez showed up at the German premiere of her movie The Backup Plan in this curve-hugging shift dress from Roland Mouret. She hiked the hem up a few inches to show off those gorgeous gams and accessorized with Emilio Pucci heels, a few stacks of silver bangles, and big-volume hair.

Just a few weeks ago, Hilary Duff chose the same dress for the BGC Charity Day in New York City. She kept the length more demure at just below her knees and accessorized with a pair of nude Brian Atwood pumps and hair that may or may not have been intentionally bed-heady.

Which version do you dolls prefer? Jennifer’s sexier, more luxurious look, or Hilary’s more prim-and-proper take?

Beauty and bad habits

At the risk of being socially irresponsible and setting a bad example, I’m just going to come out and say it: smoking can be sexy.

I feel compelled to add that I’m not a smoker nor will I ever be, nor do I recommend taking it up as a habit. But for a photoshoot – well, a cigarette can really add something. Now all that said a note about the beauty in this shoot starring Helene Desmettre: gorgeous makeup inspiration. Do take a look.
