Oh, Daisy Daisy

Socialite Cara Delevigne – sister of gorgeous model Poppy – shot the 2010 campaign, and Sienna Miller is a fan. Daisy jewellery is hot, hot, hot right now.

The collections boast a whole host of style savvy designs, from quirky, quintessentially English pieces to Goth & Roll’s standout statement rings.

And we’ve fallen totally in love with the Stack Rings. Inspired by the people, style and attitude of East London, the beautiful pieces also come with a beautiful price tag, with styles from £31.

4 Lingerie Pieces To Wear All The Time

Summertime dressing sometimes means seeing how little you can get away with wearing. And there’s nothing skimpier than lingerie. Yes, underwear is built to be tucked away and worn underneath (hence, the name), but there’s a growing trend as of late on the streets and runways pointing towards a higher tolerance for stand-alone lingerie. With this turning tide has come new styles of skivvies that—we swear—seem practically destined for showing off. Here, we pick some pretty options that can do double duty in daylight and after midnight.

Bustiers

Paired with high-waist skirts and trouser cuts, bustier styles are a chic and form-flattering alternative to tank tops. For especially hot days or nights, let a sliver of skin peek out for an unexpected, but still classy, reveal.

Bralettes

It’s the oldest trick in the book to let a little lace show, but these styles prove that showing your straps is hardly skanky. Layered beneath sheer tops or barely there tanks, the bra-peek is a fun way to cool down while heating things up.

Tap Shorts

We know, you absolutely live in your denim cut-offs come summer weather. But can we suggest adding a new pair of shorts to the rotation? With pretty tops and blazers, this boudoir mainstay gets elevated to high-street potential.

Bodysuits

Let sleek bodysuits with funky patterns or sheer fabrics creep out from under revealing tank tops and looser fitting layers. Or, simply pair with skirts or shorts for a look that’ll always stay tucked in.

These Shoes Made From Plants And Flowers Are Growing On Us

Well, this is a step up from those daisy chains you used to weave. Michel Tcherevkoff, a NY based French photographer, created Shoe Fleur, some fantasy footwear made with enough leaves, flowers, petals, and flora to stock an entire florist’s shop. We’re crazy for the bright green, woven wedges and the daisy gladiator sandals that we imagine would put a spring in our step. But before you fall too hard—there is one catch. These floral creations exist only in photo form. But hey, maybe if we keep dreaming, we can bring these petaled chaussures to life!

Not in Kansas anymore

Couldn’t resist reposting this great photo of some Christian Louboutin shoes looking somewhat lost and alone on a desert road. The actual shoes are a bit blingy for my personal taste (though that glittering stiletto heel is something else to look at); but the lomo camera affords such a grainy, archaic quality that the overall effect is completely eye-catching.
